Research that earns its authority in public.
Original indices, foresight, and sector intelligence on the systems shaping the next decade — published in the open, built to be tested.
Indices, foresight, and sector intelligence.
Disnesta Research is the firm's credibility engine. We study complex systems with the rigor of a research institution and the discipline of a product team, then publish the result so it can be tested in the open.
The work takes three forms. Indices that turn a contested domain into a measurable signal. Foresight that maps how a system is likely to evolve and where it could break. And sector intelligence that gives leaders a shared, defensible picture of the ground they are standing on.
Research is not a side project here. It sharpens every advisory engagement and every system we build, and it is the reason clients trust us with the hard problems in the first place.
What we are studying.
Every methodology is published in full.
An index is the most useful thing research can produce: a single, defensible number that compresses a complex domain into something a leader can track, compare, and act on over time.
We design indices from first principles — construct definition, subsystem structure, aggregation logic — and document the methodology in full. Where it adds value we build them as live products that update as the world changes. The methodology is always public. The conclusions should survive scrutiny, not depend on the absence of it.
